THE CONSTITUTION OF THE YOUTH CLUB
(i) To encourage the highest ethical standards
All individuals involved in the club should conduct themselves with integrity & in an equitable manner.
(ii) To arrange football matches and training for each of the playing members of the club, & other educational activities as agreed by the members.
2. RULES & REGULATIONS
(i) Whoever behaves badly shall be given a suspension, and if he/she does not change his/her behaviour shall be expelled from the club.
(ii) The club will abide by the football association of Ireland’s club protection policies and procedures, codes of conduct, and the equal opportunities and anti-discrimination policy.
(iii) The club will work to provide empowering, suitable, creative & inclusive activities for all its youth.
3. GENERAL MEETINGS
(i) The annual general meetings shall consider changes to the constitution
The annual general meeting is to:
Approve the minutes of the previous year’s annual general meeting
Receive reports from the chairperson, secretary, treasurer and approve the annual accounts
Elect the executive committee
Review reports and consider any bye-laws
(ii) A special general meeting may be called at any time by the majority of the committee
(iii) Minutes of the general meetings shall be written in the club’s minute book
4. FINANCE & ACCOUNTS
(i) The treasurer shall be responsible for the preparation of annual accounts of the club
(ii) All members of the club shall be jointly responsible for the financial liabilities of the club.
(i) Members in each category of Cranebow Foundation youth club shall pay membership fees as fixed at each annual general meeting
(ii) All members joining the club will be required to conduct themselves in accordance with the club’s ethical framework and the byelaws
(iii) Any person seeking to join the club shall submit an application in writing to the executive committee.
(iv) Membership is open to all and no application for membership will be refused on other then reasonable grounds.
6. THE COMMITTEE
(i) The club committee shall consist of the following club officers:
chairperson, vice chairperson, treasurer, secretary and minutes secretary
and 5 other members elected at the annual general meetings
(ii) One person may hold no more than two positions of the club officers at any one time
(iii) The club committee shall be responsible for the management of the affairs of the club
(iv) The club committee shall have the powers to decide all questions arising in respect of any issue concerning the club rules
(v) Decisions from the meetings of the club committee shall be entered into the minute book of the club to be maintained by the club secretary.
7. CLUB TEAMS
(i) The club committee shall appoint a club member to be responsible for each of the club's teams & sub-committees.
